DESTINATIONS & HIGHLIGHTS

Colombia:

BOGOTA.

Bogota is the cosmopolitan political center of the country. It is home to some of the country’s oldest and most traditional sites, including cathedrals and government edifices, yet it is also unmistakably modern and progressive. Its proximity to the equator combined with its high altitude gives Bogota a unique climate and stunning natural environment.

CALI.

Cali is the capital of Colombia's pacific coast culture. Although not actually located on the coast, Cali is representative of the region in terms of pacific criolla seafood cuisine, African-influenced culture, an abundance of familiar and exotic fruits, and the heart of Colombian salsa music and dance.

THE ZONA CAFETERA.

The Zona Cafetera is an area made up of several mid-size cities surrounded by the world's most renowned coffee farms. Dotted with quaint colonial towns, scenic hiking trails, and amazing biodiversity, the Zona Cafetera has become a popular destination of Colombian and international tourists.

MEDELLIN.

Medellin is the symbolic heart of Colombia's transformation and progress. Overcoming the city's difficult past, Medellin is now a hip, progressive city with plenty to offer in terms of food and shopping. Rather than ignore its previous troubles, the city is actively transforming some of the cities most infamous neighborhoods into tourist friendly havens of art and culture.

CARTAGENA & THE CARIBBEAN.

Cartagena is one of the oldest outposts in the Spanish colonial empire, and its centuries-old fortress and high city walls provide testaments to the city's glorious past. A favorite of international tourists, Cartagena has plenty to offer in terms of excellent food and great shopping.
